Problem:

Extremely high sliding wear on the steel structures of the channels and funnels due to the hard and sharp-edged glass.

Old service intervals: 

Previous service life with steel approx. 4-6 months. This involves dismantling and replacing the steel surface.

Alternative solution:

Rubber ceramic mats with a contact layer for quick and easy bonding with rubber adhesive.

Advantages

Extremely hard aluminum oxide ceramic with high wear resistance (in this case, light ceramic with a thickness of 4mm is completely sufficient)

Carrier for the ceramic 4mm rubber and therefore resistance to impact and minimization of noise emissions.

Contact layer made of rubber for easy and quick bonding of the mats to steel surfaces.

Extension of the required service intervals by more than fifteen times

Relatively low material price.
