Garbage recycling plant

Material:

Household waste

Problem:

Unsorted household waste with a high proportion of organic materials and sometimes wear-intensive components. In addition to the extremely high sliding wear on the steel structures, channels and funnels, there is the main problem of blockages in the system due to the very sticky and adherent components in household waste

Old service intervals:

Previous service life with steel approx. 3 months. This involves dismantling and replacing the gutters. Additionally, there is a need for constant manual removal of blockages by the service personnel

Alternative solution:

Rubber ceramic mats with a contact layer for quick and easy bonding with rubber adhesive.

Advantages

Extremely hard aluminum oxide ceramic with high wear resistance (in this case, light ceramic with a thickness of 4mm is completely sufficient)

Carrier for the ceramic 4mm rubber and therefore resistance to impact and minimization of noise emissions.

Contact layer on the rubber for easy and quick bonding of the mats to steel surfaces.

Extension of the required service intervals by more than twenty times

Relatively low material price.

Due to the significantly smoother surface of the ceramic compared to steel and stainless steel, minimizing blockages in the system.

Since the ceramic shows no tendency to absorb water, stickiness is minimized.
